Chester County Relationship Counseling and Sex Therapy
Stacie Courtney-Mustaphi LMFT, MS, MEd

Founder

I have my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, as well as a master’s degree with a concentration in Human Sexuality and Sex Therapy from Widener University. Over the past decade I have worked in Pennsylvania with clients of diverse backgrounds, age ranges and concerns, providing relational, individual, family and sex therapy counselling.
Using a treatment approach that is based on collaboration, strength-based, and trauma-informed for treatment regimens to create an open and supportive environment. I operate from an intergenerational and interpersonal approach, highlighting how various relationships and experiences shape identity and behavior.
The goal is to assure clients feel comfortable, heard and empowered to enable positive changes in their lives, by applying systemic modalities of therapy, including Gottman therapy, sex therapy techniques, and family therapy interventions. I utilize humor as a therapeutic tool to connect with my clients.
I am an American Association of Sex, Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) certified Sex Therapist. My certifications also include being an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT) Approved Supervisor, to provide counselor supervision towards licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania, therefore I am qualified to accept interested graduate students and pre-licensed therapists for supervision towards licensure.
